1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how BioEdge Labs (“BioEdge”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you interact with our website, catalog, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

It applies to visitors, account holders, and researchers who purchase products from BioEdge Labs. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

  • Information you provide. When you create an account, place an order, contact support, or subscribe to updates, we collect the details you submit — including name, contact information, shipping address, order details, and any message content.
  • Information from your use of the site. We automatically collect usage data such as IP address, device and browser information, page views, catalog searches, referrers, and interaction events.
  • Information from partners. Payment processors, shipping carriers, and identity or fraud-prevention providers may share limited information with us to complete transactions and verify orders.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process orders, arrange shipping, and provide customer support;
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the catalog and site experience;
  • Send transactional messages such as order confirmations, shipping updates, and account notices;
  • Send research-catalog updates and marketing communications where you have opted in;
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • Comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your cart, understand catalog usage, and measure the performance of the site. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the Services to work; others are used for analytics and preferences and can be controlled through your browser or, where available, our privacy choices control.

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregated site usage. Where required, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals and offer an opt-out via our privacy choices link in the footer.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. Vendors that help us run the Services — including hosting, payment processing, shipping and fulfillment, email delivery, analytics, and fraud prevention — under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of BioEdge, our customers, or the public.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality safeguards.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it in accordance with our retention schedule.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information — including encryption in transit, access controls, and periodic reviews of our security practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict certain personal information, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing activities. California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, and EU/UK residents have specific rights under applicable law.

To exercise a right, email us at privacy@bioedge.icu. We may verify your identity before responding and will reply within the timeframes required by applicable law. You have the right to appeal a denied request and, where applicable, to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

10. International users

BioEdge Labs is based in the United States, and information we collect is processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of your information in the U.S., which may have different data protection standards than your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised “last updated” date and, where required, notified to you directly. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
